Adult Classes & Workshops
- First and foremost, PLEASE stay home if you are not feeling well.
- Staff, instructors and hosts will continue to follow a “vaccinate or test” protocol.
- Each instructor or host will continue to sanitize before and after classes. We ask that all who enter the studio sanitize hands and do a temperature check.
- Masks are not required, but highly encouraged. Masks are required during DOE co-sponsored classes.
- We ask for ALOHA and HA’AHA’A when deciding how to create with others who share the same space.

If you are an artist interested in access to our studio facilities and equipment for your creative projects, you can become a MAC Affiliate.
Beginner-Intermediate Ceramics – Dan Bennett. Please refer to the MAC web calendar for class times and days.
Learn how to develop vessel and sculptural concepts using wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Introduction to the elements of art through the making of the ceramic form. Progresses beyond basic throwing techniques to intermediate throwing skills, various forming and embellishing techniques both on the wheel and subsequent to throwing colored slip work, glaze work, the firing of kilns and various tasks encountered in studio management. Students work towards development of individual creative expression. Materials cost included in the studio membership fee, provide your own tools. Feeling hesitant about taking this class? Strings Class (Molokai Instrument Program)- Bob Underwood
A musical strings class for adults as well as children age 5+ up are may participate free of charge. Instruments are available for loan including violin, viola, cello, and string bass.
Adults and children 3rd grade and up are welcome to this musical class free of charge. Emphasis is on music performance with a concert as a grand finale. Instruments are provided as loan includes the clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone.
